Alongside Celine is Jerome, bringing expert hairdressing and men’s barber services to the Do or Dye hair experience. From luminous blondes and bespoke colour transformations to sharp cuts, tailored styling and polished men’s grooming, every service is shaped around the person in the chair. Celine
Celine is the owner of Do or Dye, bringing a wealth of experience, creativity, and industry recognition to her boutique Christchurch salon. Celine has been named NZ Hairdresser of the Year and has also received Culture Magazine’s Best Editorial award, celebrating her eye for detail and creative direction. She has been a finalist for NZ Hairdresser of the Year four years running, as well as a finalist for Schwarzkopf Hairdresser of the Year.
Known for her refined approach, technical skill, and passion for creating beautiful, wearable hair, Celine is dedicated to giving every client an incredible salon experience. At Do or Dye hair, she has created a welcoming space where creativity, confidence, and premium hairdressing come together.
When Celine isn’t at the salon you can find her spending time with her two boys, friends and family or exploring the world indulging in her passion for travel.
Jerome
Born and raised in Christchurch, Jerome comes from a family of hairdressers and has been working in the industry for over 24 years. His experience spans all aspects of hairdressing, including cutting, colouring, barbering, wedding styling, and special occasion hair, giving him the versatility to work with a wide range of clients and styles.
In 2014, Jerome travelled the world as HairGypsy365, cutting and styling hair throughout South America, Europe, and India. Now back in Christchurch, he loves getting to know his clients and helping them look and feel their best, whether it’s a child’s first haircut, a fresh new colour, or a regular trim.
When he’s not in the salon, you’ll find him skiing, camping, and spending time with his wife, Courtney, and their three children.
